We are actively involved in conserving and protecting our natural environment in Wairewa and surrounds. We work with Far East Victoria Landcare as an active group that oversees

• Landscape and water catchment management
• Revegetation
• Fencing
• Clean Up Australia Days
• Feral animal monitoring and management.

Our group encompasses Wairewa, Tostaree, Nowa Nowa and Wombat Creek. We have filled a gap in the community’s social structure since the demise of the tennis club, the school and post office.
